This blog post will not only focus on cryptocurrencies, but also on how the use of blockchain technology will change our entire way of life. Just as the agricultural revolution and industrial revolution changed the way societies lived, blockchain technology will change the way societies live and their habits. So why?
Essentially, blockchain technology is a digital ledger system where data is recorded in a transparent, secure and decentralized manner. Each block contains the data of the previous block, and this chain, created by connecting them together with cryptographic methods, offers a secure structure that is difficult to change. The distributed ledger structure allows information to be stored on many computers, reducing the risk of data loss or manipulation.
Secure and transparent transactions in the financial sector, security of patients’ data in the healthcare sector, traceability in supply chain management, transparency in voting systems, transactions automated with smart contracts, population records, land registry transactions, notary transactions.

Now think about the institutions that carry out all these studies. Local governments, banks, states, healthcare systems, etc. The responsibilities of all these institutions can become safer, cheaper and transparent with blockchain infrastructure. You can see exactly where your tax is being used. Was a bridge built in your country with your taxes or was a village bombed in Afghanistan? There is no concern about whether anyone interfered with the elections. A world where no one can disrupt tenders or launder money. Where control is achieved with a few simple operations.
This sounds great, but also a little worrying. So who will control this power? Will I have to pay a price for all these things? I want to be honest. As a result of the agricultural revolution, we started to live in much safer places. Wild animals did not come and kill us. But in the growing cities, epidemics spread from the animals we domesticated and thousands of people died. As a result of inactivity, we struggled with diseases such as herniated discs and obesity. We worked much harder, we needed much more resources with the increasing population, we fought wars. So everything has a price. Even freedom has a price.
I don’t know what this cost will be. I will not create conspiracy theories. There were definitely those who opposed the agricultural revolution. Perhaps they refused to settle and lived as nomads all their lives. However, the group that started the agricultural revolution built civilization. We are the children of those who founded this civilization. You can also refuse and choose to move from the city and live in a small village. I think people should be free. But those who build the next civilization will be the first to go, even if they pay the price.
Here is a real moment: there is a past, there is a present, there is no future yet, very few people are aware of this when witnessing a history. And with this awareness, he becomes one of those who shape the future.
