Greg Solano, co-founder of Yuga Labs, recently provided an update on the company’s progress and future plans for the Bored Apes franchise.
Yuga Labs, a leader in the digital collectibles sector, is busy developing new initiatives. Salted emphasized several exciting projects currently in the pipeline.
One of the main developments is ODK, a platform designed to create and monetize 3D games and social experiences in the crypto world. This shows Yuga Labs’ focus on expanding into the gaming space.
Another notable project is Project Dragon, a unique shooting game developed in an unconventional scenario of team battles. This game is developed with the same technology as ODK.
Yuga Labs is also organizing ApeFest, an event where Bored Apes owners from around the world will gather at a historic monastery.
Additionally, the company is exploring ways to integrate Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) with physical products to increase the value of their ecosystem.
Yuga Labs recently underwent a major restructuring that included layoffs. Despite these changes, the company is focused on strengthening the rights of its NFT holders.
Gaming is seen as a key area for growth with the development of Dookey Dash, a simple game featuring a tournament that can offer a prize of $1 million.
Yuga Labs is also looking to form new partnerships to bring more games to their ecosystem in order to attract a wider user base and strengthen their position in the digital collectibles and games industry.
