Introducing Solordi Inu
Solordi, or SOL — ORDI combines emerging technologies from both Solana (SOL) and Bitcoin ordinals — digital assets inscribed on a satoshi, the lowest denomination of a Bitcoin (BTC).
Bitcoin ordinals were launched on Bitcoin mainnet by developer Casey Rodarmor on January 20, 2023, ordinal NFTs are simply the latest way to create NFTs on Bitcoin. Since then a few more meta protocols on Bitcoin have emerged such as BRC-20, SRC-20, and most recently, CBRC-20.
Although while yet there are still to be DEXs specifically in support of the exchange of Bitcoin based Oridinals, leveraging the power of the blockchain of 2023 and beyond, Solana, it immediately became apparent that the bridge between the two had were yet to be discovered.
Solana, on the other hand boasts remarkable capacities of over 65,000 TPS, virtually eliminating scalability concerns. Both SOL and POL offer users faster transaction speeds, an advanced consensus model, and an efficient architecture, positioning them as scalable choices in the blockchain landscape.
The combination of Bitcoin Ordinal Inscriptions within the Solana blockchain became a representation of a north star of where the industry is yet to develop an ecosystem of products to support an emerging area of discovery for web3.
