Ethereum ($ETH) price found support in renewed activity in the derivatives market on September 17, and our machine learning algorithm suggests the upward trajectory is going to remain unchanged throughout the month.
Specifically, Finbold’s AI-powered prediction tool sees the cryptocurrency rallying another 5.48% and trading at $2,365 by September 30, 2026.
The machine algorithm’s Ethereum price target was generated by combining predictions by three leading large language models (LLMs), that is, DeepSeek Chat, Gemini 3.5 Flash, and ChatGPT 5.7 Luna, all of which were comparably bullish on the cryptocurrency.
Notably, OpenAI’s model projects a 6.35% rally and a price target of $2,385, while DeepSeek sees it climbing 5.49% to $2,365.5. Google’s algorithm was a bit more conservative but still argueed for a 4.59% upside potential and an $ETH price of $2,345.5.
Ethereum price outlook September 2026
Ethereum’s near-term direction could depend on whether it can hold the $2,430-$2,465 range. A decisive move above that level could bring the $2,700 area into view. Conversely, a failure to maintain support would expose the 50-day exponential moving average near $2,282.
Broader macroeconomic factors, including interest-rate expectations and spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) flows, will likely remain potential headwinds for the cryptocurrency market. As Ethereum’s most recent gains reflect a combination of renewed derivatives positioning and significant whale activity, similar factors could help offset pressure and bolster ETF inflows.
If all goes smoothly, the next major test will likely be the $2,570 resistance level. Trading volume in the spot market will be particularly important at that point. Indeed, stronger spot participation alongside a move above resistance would provide additional evidence of sustained demand, while weak volume could leave the rebound vulnerable to renewed consolidation.
